The December Pack Walk will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at TY Park. Pack Walk in the Park (group dog walk) is an opportunity to get some exercise (for you and your dog) and socialize with other dog owners (non-dog owners are welcome, too!).
We will walk the two-mile loop of newly paved pathways for walking, jogging, skating, and biking. Plants to attract butterflies have also been placed along the park’s northern corridor.
TY Park requires all dogs to be on a 6' leash (no retractable / flexi leads) at all times.TY Park's admission fee is $1.50 per person (ages 6 and up)
After you enter the park through the toll booth, take your 1st right turn & park. You will see a red & white sign with a picture of a butterfly that says "Listen to Nature! Please turn down your radio." We will meet in this area and start walking at 9 AM (please arrive by 8:45 AM).
We will have some treats, samples, and some give aways for your dogs after the walk!*

Husky Holiday Bash at Harlo's Healthy Pets
Husky Holiday Bash is a fundraising event for the South Florida Siberian Husky Rescue, Inc. (SFSHRI). This event will take place at Harlo's Healthy Pets on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Harlo's is located at 250 N Dixie Highway, #6 in Hollywood, FL.
A portion of all sales on 12/14/13 will be donated to the SFSHRI, a non-profit organization. They assist in finding homes for abused and/or neglected and abandoned purebred Siberian Huskies.
This is a great opportunity to support a local dog rescue organization simply by purchasing items you might need for your pets (food, treats, toys, grooming supplies, flea & tick prevention, etc.).
There will also be raffle prizes, holiday pictures with Santa and a 50 / 50 raffle.
We will have free samples of food and treats for your pets from Stella & Chewy's, Nature's Kitchen and more.
You can meet some of our rescued dogs; learn about volunteer opportunities & how to become a foster, facts about huskies, etc.

You can drop off your donation at Harlo's Healthy Pets or better yet stop by Harlo's Healthy Pets for all your pet needs and pick up some extra food while you are there. You can also make a monetary donation and Harlo's Healthy Pets will place that amount in an account for the respective rescue. During this time of giving please give a little extra to help a homeless animal.

Buddies Thru Bullies Fall Frolic
This is a fundraising event for Buddies Thru Bullies, Inc. (A portion of all sales on 10/5/13 will be donated to the Buddies Thru Bullies, a non-profit organization). They are a 501c3 not-for-profit English Bulldog Rescue organization based in South Florida.
This is a great opportunity to support a local dog rescue organization simply by purchasing items you might need for your pets (food, treats, toys, grooming supplies, flea & tick prevention, etc.).
BTB will have raffles, games, a costume parade at noon, treats for the humans brought in by their pets, foster and adoption applications and a display of all adoptable dogs.
There will be raffle prizes and free samples of food and treats from Stella & Chewy's, Nature's Kitchen, Genesis, Sojos, Earthbath, Nupro, Nylabone, Tiki Dogs, Zuke's, Grizzly Salmon Oil, Kat Walking Dogs and others.
